Farmunk több mint 70 éve született, és mindig is üvegházhatású virágok, például rózsák, kertek és orchideák termesztésével foglalkozott. Jelenleg a fő termesztés az orchidea, a kelták és a calle. Az ingatlanban elszórtan található több mint 300 olaj- és gyümölcsfának köszönhetően (több mint 15.000 m2 talaj) kiváló olívaolajat, különféle befőtteket, lekvárokat, mogyorót és likőrt állítunk elő, karantén burgonyatermelőket.

A parasztház ideális helyen fekszik Genova városának, Európa egyik leggazdagabb és legérdekesebb akváriumának, a régi kikötőnek és a közeli történelmi Molo negyednek, a Lanternának és a múzeumoknak a meglátogatásához. Szintén rövid időn belül elérhető Nervi (9 perc vonattal), Camogli (12 perc) Pieve Alta, Monte di Santa Croce, Monte di Portofino. Nyáron sok ilyen kirándulás (Porto Antico, Aquarius, Camogli, Portofino, Portovenere és Cinque Terre) hajóval is megtehető a Bogliasco mólóról.
